Documentation - Root data.xml elements

data.xml is the file that describes how the gallery should render screens displaying text, images, and links to pages within your site. This XML file can contain several XML elements, listed below. (Note: All of the following elements may only appear once with the exception of the <screen> element which may appear multiple times)

<data>
The root element in data.xml is the <data> element. All other elements must be children of this element. You shouldn't need to change this for any reason - just leave it the way it is.

<size>*
The custom size of the flash gallery.
For example: <size width="550" height="300"/>

<timeout>
The loading timeout time in milliseconds (How long to wait for the resources (images, videos, etc) to load before showing the first screen) (Note: The default value is 2000 ms)
For example: <timeout value="2000"/>

<automute>*
If set to true, loads the gallery with audio muted. If set to false, loads the gallery with audio unmuted. (Note: The default value is 'true', or to load with audio muted)
For example: <automute value="false"/>

<controlpanel>*
Defines the control panel to be used for slide navigation within the slideshow.
For more information, refer to the documentation for the <controlpanel> element.

<screen> (multiple instances)
Each <screen> element describes (you guessed it) a screen within the gallery.
For more information, refer to the documentation for the <screen> element.
