Is it possible not to use any of the images in the posts?

I want to control the background of each post using the default image. Not being a sophisticated programmer I don't know the best way to do this.

With hundreds of posts and multiple people involved in the entry custom fields will not really work. A solution needs to be automatic.

Could you help me with this?

Thank you
Hi there!

So, just to make sure I understand, you mean that you want the exact same image to show up on each screen, right?

If that's the case, then you just need to modify the template.xml file. For example, in the NationalGeographic.com template, find the following excerpt:

Code:
        <image filename="%image_1%" x="0" y="0" width="480" height="210" resizetype="min"/>
        <default name="image_1" value="templates/NationalGeographic.com/default.jpg"/>

and move the filename from the <default/> tag to the <image/> tag (replacing the %image_1% text). Also, remove the <default/> tag. The result should look like this:

Code:
        <image filename="templates/NationalGeographic.com/default.jpg" x="0" y="0" width="480" height="210" resizetype="min"/>

Make sure to do this for all <screen/> tags in your template. This should do the trick for you! Smile
