Vary Defult Image by Category

I haven't seen anything for the free Featurific for WordPress on this (though I may have not found it yet).

Is it possible to have both a general default image and a different default image for a certain category?

Thanks for your question. This is a feature that I haven't thought of before. Very interesting idea! For the time being, the best way to get this sort of feature working would be to write a separate (very simple) plugin that takes advantage of Featurific's support for Wordpress' "custom fields".

Essentially, this custom plugin would assign a custom field (%image_1%) to each post according to its category (one issue you'd have to deal with is what to do when a post is in several categories - which category takes precedence?). With the custom field of %image_1% set to the appropriate image for the given category, when Featurific generates your slideshow, the correct image will be used.
