Shortening lenght and errors on page

Hello,
I`ve just tried your plugin and it`s great! I really like it.. but I have some issues..

First of all, the Auto-Excerpt Length function doesn`t work.. it`s still using all of that text.. I`m using Wordpress 2.7 but I think that this issue will be due to version of PHP? Maybe that the function for shortening is different in my version of php (I`m not sure what version I`m using, probably PHP5)..

The second issue is about "errors on page" on Safari 3.. It`s saying "There were 3 errors opening this page. In activity windows I can see red items with http://....myblog...plugins/featurific-for-wordpress/ - FORBIDDEN.. 3 times.. It`s trying to open something? Do I need to set the rights for this directory? It`s working fine but I don`t want these errors..

Can you send me a URL to check out so I can investigate these problems?

I'm not sure why the auto-excerpt function isn't working - this is the first report we've had of buggy behavior.

I have seen the second issue before, but I don't recall what it is exactly that causes the problem. If you can post your URL, I can investigate further.
