Static Page - How do I get it to work
I have tried now for 4 hours to place the code on my static home page - I have followed all the help - how to place php code and everything - But it just does not work.... That is not oly frustrating , but I dont have 4 hours to waste - - - -It worked when I had the basic default settings with the blog on the home page..... I really want to buy a licence the product is great....
I followed the link you gave on a previous post here - butn that did not work My website I am trying to place this on is http://botoxoxford.co.uk Is there a step by step manual - or better still a video. Also - to change the width and height do I have to buy a licence.... And with a personal licence can I add plugin to all my 6 blogs or do I have to buy a liucence for each one Thanks Brian |

RE: Static Page - How do I get it to work
Hi, Brian!
I apologize for the delay in responding to your posts. I'm currently out of town, and while this is no excuse, I'll do what I can to help out! Given your messages, I'm assuming you've already found the page on adding the Exec-PHP plugin, and disabling the editor, correct? To change the width and height, you don't need to purchase a license - this can be done with the free version. Once you're ready to upgrade all of your blogs to Featurific Pro or unbranded, we can work out a generous bulk pricing deal. As far as getting Featurific to work on your static page, the only thing that draws my attention is that I haven't tried to use the plugin you've chosen for inserting PHP. You may try Exec-PHP and see if your experience is better. Also, are you sure the plugin is working as expected? You can try inserting something such as: <?php echo 'Hello there!'; ?> to see if PHP is being executed successfully. If it is, you should see 'Hello there!' inserted into your page. Please let me know if these suggestions help you at all! If you're still lost, I'd be willing to log in for you to take a look around and see if I can notice anything that is causing Featurific to not work on a static page. Best of luck, Brian! -Rich (05-27-2010 10:30 AM)bribiz Wrote: I have tried now for 4 hours to place the code on my static home page - I have followed all the help - how to place php code and everything - But it just does not work....
