Error after upgrading from wp 2.9.2 to 3.1

After upgrading a website from wordpress 2.9.2 to 3.1 (I dectivated all plugins before installing per the wordpress recommendation) then when I try to reactivate featurific, I get an "Error 500 - Internal server error" with at this page http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/plugins.p...4933b80744

The html code snippet was properly placed and is still in the sidebar.php file but it doesn't seem to show up on the front end web page.

When I try to edit the plugin it doesn't display anything, just an empty admin page header.

Solved. I had to insert this code at the end of the .htaccess file:
AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
