Featurific on Explorer

I am bug checking my site before going live and discovered that my featurific plugin doesn't show up on Explorer, either 6 or 7. I noticed something in the FAQ about Flash versions but this isn't the answer as the IE7 system was up to date with flash (don't know about the IE6 system).

Are there any other variables to explore or fixes to make related to Explorer?

Can you post a link to your site (the development version) so I can check it out? I do know that one of our users tried to use Net Renderer (http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/) to test Featurific, but it doesn't seem that the platform supports Flash at all. Can you tell me a bit about your test environment?

Hey Rich, it's me - Len. I posted this about the same time I emailed you first. You solved the problem. Now I just want to create a static image to put underneath Featurific, so if someone without flash support comes to the site, instead of seeing a white box they'll at least see an image - which may say, "Get Flash Dummy!"

I have the same problem as vinyltoupee had: Featurific does not work on Explorer 6 and 7. I´ve checked at my PC that I have the last Flash Player installed and it is. My site is at http://www.notix.com.mx/pruebablog/

Looks like vinyltoupee got his problem solved but he did not specify how the problem was solved. Could you please tell me how to achieve it ?

Ok. Let's see what we can do. First, make sure you're checking your version of Flash in IE, and not in FF or some other browser - I found out the hard way that you can have two different versions of the plugin installed under the two (or more) different browsers. So, make sure to check in IE6/7. The address you should visit to check Flash is:

Also, I tried to check the page that you posted, but the link you posted doesn't seem to work. Can you double-check it?

Dear Rinogo,

Sorry for the bad link, I had to fixed something and went down for a while. It´s up now.

I´ve checked my Flash Player in Explorer 7.0 and it´s version is:

Your Player Version: WIN 10,0,12,36
Debug Player: No
Operating System: Windows Vista
Video Capable: Yes
Audio Capable: Yes
Local File I/O Enabled: Yes

The Link works now. Sorry for the downtime.

I uninstall the player and install it again in order to have the latest version but the Internet Explorer error continues to block the site display.

I've checked out the URL that you included, and have verified that there's a bug (of sorts). If you're curious, it's due to point #2 on the following page:

I've coded up a test fix. Please try using the following featurific.php file:

http://featurific.com/files/featurific_w...d_test.php

You'll have to rename it to 'featurific.php' and place it in your featurific-for-wordpress directory.
