RE: some browser not showing...
ok this may not be THE solution. but so far it seems to be working for me.
i was working on hardcoding a static image below featurific and stumbled on this: simply added an empty tag at the end of featurific.php } else { print "=========> "; var_dump($data); print " <========="; } print "<br/>"; } ?> </> this throws the empty tag above the assembled page code.... </><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 does anyone know why this works? |

RE: some browser not showing...
Hi Linduh,
First off, apologies for the delay in responding. Somehow your post was overlooked and we're just getting to it now. Hopefully we'll get your problem resolved quickly! I went to your site to determine what was wrong, but I can't find Featurific in the source anywhere. Can you please enable it again so that I can assess the situation? Thanks, and hope to hear from you soon. -Rich |

RE: some browser not showing...
not sure if this helps but I had some problems with ie8, not sure about ie7 but it was fine on firefox, but it would randomly mess up the whole page and I would get a HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed.
Found out that this plugin doesnt really like the lightbox plugin, which after turning off the lightbox plugin, everything was fine. |

RE: some browser not showing...
Hi jrb576,
Thanks for your report! The error that you described might be due to Featurific's use of SWFObject to embed itself into the page. Something we'll be looking into. Thanks again, and have a great day! ![]() -Rich |

Rinogo/Rich
sorry for my delay in responding. had to pull you plugin off the site. we think it might have been a JS conflict as we are using many other plugins. my recollection was that all worked fine when the other widgets/plugins were disabled. so for delivery we ending up going with a really simple feature element. when i have a second to breathe, i would love to reload and investigate the solution with you. will keep you posted. thanks again! linduh |
